Sanjay brings several years of experience leading and growing large teams and organizations worldwide. He took on the role of CEO Global at EnglishHelper™ after a long stint at American Express, where he served as Head of Customer Service - International Markets from Singapore, Head of Global Financial Operations from New York, and Senior Vice President and Head of the Leadership Team. He has also held senior positions at Motorola, Pepsico, and Eicher.
Currently, he serves as Director of BOI AXA Investment Managers, Grow Talent, Skill Training Assessment Management Partners (an IL&FS venture) and other companies. He is on the Advisory Boards of organizations including Schneider Electric and Acumen Fund.
Sanjay is deeply committed to the development sector and has been engaged with Charities Aid Foundation , Udayan Care, and Mobile Creches.
Committed to education and related social issues, Sanjay writes a blog column for The Economic Times. Sanjay is, a leadership coach and is faculty at Duke Corporate Education.
Priya leads the RightToRead program, a multi stakeholder initiative launched by the company in 2013-14, that aims to improve reading skills of students in India’s Government Schools. She is responsible for all customer engagements in India.
Priya has worked with development issues in India for over two decades. Previously, she was Managing Director, Dāna Asia an Asian non-profit she co-founded and incorporated in Singapore. Prior to Dāna Asia, Priya was India Country Head of Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) where she helped leverage and on board several leading multinationals – Adobe, Baxter, Microsoft, Ernst & Young, American Express, UBS, RBS, Barclays Plc and others.
Priya was the lead consultant for Give2Asia & United Way International in India, and has worked for the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the apex chamber of Commerce and Industry in India.
Currently she is Advisory Board Member on Give2Asia's Asian Philanthropy Advisory Network, Trustee of RACHNA – (Research, Advocacy & Communication in Himalayan Areas) and All Creatures Great and Small, a shelter for animals in distress.
Sriram is responsible for supporting existing products while developing new, solutions and taking them to market.
He has experience in building innovative commercial products leveraging text-to-speech and speech recognition. Prior to joining EnglishHelper™, he was technology and business journalist with The Financial Chronicle; Sriram continues to contribute a weekly column to the paper providing perspective on new technologies and their impact on everyday lives of people.
Sriram holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Joined EnglishHelper™ (EH) in its formative years. She led EH’s K 12 engagement for a number of years and has been working on the RightToRead program since 2013. Kalpana is a gifted teacher and trainer and leads in product training and capacity building of the RightToRead team.
Prior to joining EH, Kalpana headed the English Department and has been a Vice Principal at the Manav Sthali School. In the capacity of Program Coordinator, she also led many programs with Nehru Institute of Youth Affairs. Kalpana has numerous years of experience in training and managing customer relations & promotions and leading teams at Vedams Books.
Kalpana has completed her Masters in English and Bachelors in Education from Delhi University and a Diploma in Child Psychology and Student Counselling.
Joined EnglishHelper™ (EH) in 2015. He leads the Program Management Office (PMO) of RightToRead and is responsible for the expansion of the program.
Vineet has over 11 years of experience in the domains of Technology and Sales Consulting. He started his career with Convergys and went on to work for SunGard Energy and expanded the company’s business in Australia, APAC and Middle East. Vineet spent the next couple of years in the technology domain with Zensar Technologies and Adrenalin eSystems (A Polaris Group Company) where he focussed on expanding the business of Human Capital Alignment Solutions.
In 2014, Vineet decided to pursue an academic program and has completed an Executive MBA from the School Of Inspired Leadership. He has been involved with Uthaan, an NGO for Environmental Sustainability.
Usha joined EH in its formative years, bringing along her distinctive analytical skills and passion for technology.
She was earlier heading India operations for Handmadepapier.com, a US-based company in India dealing with eco-friendly 100% tree free and recyclable paper products.
Usha currently leads customer operations including phone and email servicing support to users.
She has completed her Masters in Physics from University of Jodhpur and Bachelors in Education from Annamalai University.
Erica studied English and German at Wellesley College and received her Master of Arts in Varieties of English from the University of Essex.
Erica has developed linguistics-based rules for WritingAssistant™. She has engaged in extensive research on writing effectiveness products with specific focus on ‘non-native’ writing. Erica has co-authored papers on the computational linguistics-based WritingAssistant™ that have been presented at global forums focused on computer assisted language learning.
Manika is a tenured member of the EnglishHelper™ team. She has helped shape the company’s learning philosophy and methodology especially for adult learners. Prior to this she worked with Sapient, where she was responsible for the strategy and design of a range of programs across the organization, including the company's leadership development and new hire programs. Her early experience includes designing and developing computer-based and online training for the K-12 segment in India.
Manika completed her MA in Professional Communication from Clemson, South Carolina where she studied usability, human factors design, visual communication, and rhetoric. She also holds BA degrees in Law and Political Science.
Shankar joined EH in 2012 and worked as a Territory Manager supporting our work in the Affordable Private Schools segment. From 2013 Shankar has been engaged with the RightToRead program and successfully implemented the program in Andhra Pradesh. Currently based in Maharashtra, Shankar will co-lead and manage the expansion of RightToRead in the state.
Shankar has many years of experience in the development sector and has successfully delivered career guidance programs for over 20,000 students. He has also been a part of the procurement at Navachetana Foundation.
Apart from completing the Fellowship Program in 2010 at Deshpande Centre for Social Entrepreneurship, Shankar holds a Masters Degree in Mass Journalism.
Joined EH in 2011 and has been involved with multiple customer engagements at EnglishHelper™. After engaging with EH’s work in the Skills segment, Khusnud worked extensively with K 12 customers. In 2013, Khusnud implemented EH’s RightToRead program in Haryana and the following year in Gujarat. Khusnud will be responsible for guiding and managing the team in the Eastern region as RightToRead expands into West Bengal.
Having worked with Glaxo Smithkline and Ranbaxy Laboratories, Khusnud has a strong background in procurement and supply chain management.
Khusnud has completed his MBA from AICTE-IIMT, Noida after the completion of Bachelor of Science.
Charles is a Commerce graduate and is pursuing MBA in IT.
Previously, he has worked as marketing analyst at Shantesha Honda and Spice Communications. He was also involved with Yuva Bharath Youth Association, an organisation that works for educational and societal development.
Charles joined Deshpande Fellowship Program to pursue his passion in the field of education and after completion of his fellowship; He worked for Deshpande Educational Trust for Entrepreneurship Academy as program manager and then went on to train over 5000 individuals on IT tools & application at Technology for Common.
Charles is currently leading a number of customer programs in India.
